The Difference between Round Bar and Other Steel

Round bar is divided into hot-rolled, cold-forging and cold drawing. Hot rolled round steel specifications are 5.5-250 mm. 5.5-25 mm small round bar is supplies by straight bundles, commonly used for steel, bolts and various mechanical parts; Greater than 25 mm round steel, mainly used for the manufacture of mechanical parts, seamless steel pipe tube and so on.

There are some difference between round bar and reinforcement.

1.Shape is not the same, round bar shape is round, no pattern no rib, other steel surface has a sculptured appearance or ribs, thus causing adhesion between round bar and is small, while other steel material has big adhesion with concrete. 

2.Ingredients are not the same, round steel belongs to the ordinary low-carbon steel, other bars are alloy steel.

3.Intensity is not the same, round bar has low intensity, other steel has high intensity.
